The Historic New Orleans Collection-LA

Most of the Historic tours were closed but one section was open in this museum. Location in the French Quarter took us on an insight of art and the Mardi Gras roots. It was one day a year that the neighborhoods would look past there differences and dress up and "strut" mostly the men and young boys were taught. The sections of the neighborhood were almost like gangs. They would try to out do each other.
