Petoskey Stones

So we pull into our camp ground Beautiful, forgot to take pitures of the grounds but on the lake and went looking for Petoskey stones, found a few, was mesmerizing to look for them.

So what are Petoskey stones? They are a rock and fossil often pebble-shaped. Stones formed as a result of glaciation, in which sheets of ice plucked stones from then bedrock, grinding off their rough edges. Mine of course are not polished . Had to buy a charm for my necklace at the may shops we shopped in. I told Dennis i could live in Petoskey, but we could not afford the town. houses on the water are over a million.
